For the 3rd summer running Skipper Jimmy, Carla & Aella will be based in the Ionian islands facilitating daily cruises for the Peligoni club in Zakynthos island. We spend our days sailing upon turquoise seas, exploring caves, embracing the healing properties of the cold Sulphur springs, swimming, paddleboarding, snorkeling and generally relaxing with a glass of rose in hand and of course dining in style with a fresh locally sourced lunch.
We are also affiliated with like minded sailors in the Greek islands who offer the same 7 day trips that we previously offered and can highly recommend joining their adventures in summer 2024. Get in touch with us for more information.
A Greek Odyssey
Much like the myth itself, life is an adventure nothing ever goes quite to plan. Sadly after the purchase of our 21m classic yacht in August 2019 we were thrown straight into the world pandemic and after a 3 year period of trying to keep her afloat we were forced to sell. We have our eyes open everywhere looking for the next project so to all of our returning guests PLEASE….. WATCH THIS SPACE!

When you sail with ‘Off The Beaten Tack’ we aim to be different, to avoid the crowds and to sail off the grid, independently and provide authentic cultural experiences in the lesser known islands.
On board you can choose to do as little or as much as you like. You can take the helm or pull the ropes & learn to sail alongside your crew or simply lay back on deck and be revitalised with ‘Vitamin Sea’.
A little history
For the past last 15 years Skipper Jimmy and for 8 years Carla have been busy gaining valuable experience in barefoot luxury sailing charter mainly in the Cyclades islands on 7 day culturally rich adventures away from the norm. Along side yacht deliveries, yacht refits and maintenance on a variety of yachts ranging from classic schooners and ketches ultra modern Wally race yachts Carla and Jimmy have been involved in all aspects of boat life. A boat is never finished and the same goes for the captain and crew they lend their hands to renovation, carpentry, metal fabrication, GRP work, engineering and everything thrown at them whilst living aboard and ashore. In between this they have also managed a beach bar in Sri Lanka, been guardians a of private estate in South France and travelled far and wide.
